This Apertura Universal 5 amp AC Adapter is designed as a power supply for mounts, cooled cameras, and other accessories that have 12v DC power requirements. This updated version of the Apertura AC5 power adapter has an increased resting voltage when compared to the previous version offered by Apertura and when compared to most other manufacturer’s 12v power supplies. This increased resting voltage results in a more accurate voltage of around 12v when in use. This is especially important when taking advantage of the higher 4-5 amp load capacity of the device.
